Border-gate conveyor girders
Lifting and transhipping conveyor girders at the border gate — cargo changes vehicles right in the transhipment zone between the two sides.
Transhipment at the border is always bound by both sides' customs working hours. We had cranes and crew on standby and finished within the same day, so the cargo did not stay overnight in the transhipment zone.
How it was done
Agreed the transhipment schedule with customs and the partner on the other side
Prepared transit documents and related permits
Mobilised cranes and lifting gear suited to the girder size
Lifted and transhipped onto the partner's vehicles
Signed the handover record and completed border formalities
Crane transferring panels to the partner's truck at the border gate
Long cargo on the road
