Double-decker buses
Complete double-decker buses exceed the permitted height — the task is finding a route with no low bridges or power lines.
They cannot be dismantled, so the route decides everything. We chose low-deck trailers to reduce overall height, took a longer route with enough clearance and moved at night to limit traffic impact.
How it was done
Measured total height once loaded on the trailer deck
Surveyed clearances along the whole route: overpasses, power lines, signs
Chose a low-deck trailer and fixed a route with enough clearance
